I wish all of you, your families & friends a vey happy independence day. I must put forward a vey noble thought which if implemented by all the Indians will make India a super power." Ask not what your country has done for you, but ask what you have done for your country".We must treat all our fellow country people as human beings.We must get rid of all the baggage of evils we have been carrying for so amny centuries, for example dowry system, caste system, harassing women are the ones come to my mind immdiately.So let us all get together & make India a better place to live fot future generation to follow us.Jai Hind &Bharat Mata ki Jai     

My birthday happened to be other day. When I got up in the morning I thanked God for all the blessings he has showered on me. When I went to bed at night, I spent few moments reflecting on my life so far. Have I been a good citizen, a good husband,a good friend & a good son (not necessarily in that order). Have I been able to give happiness to as many people as possible & grief to as few people as possible. I reminded myself of my resolve that I will continue to do my level best along these lines. Most importantly whenever I pray to God I will not any thing for myself but I will ask for every thing for human race in general & my friends in particular   

Many times I wonder why do we people search for God evry where else in the world. Does our philosophy that God resides in all of us. This means that all of us should take care that we do not hurt fellow human beings & do our best to help each other. Marathi Saint literature( called as Sant sahitya) there is an anecdote about Sant Namdev. One day he goes to a temple & finds an old sleeping with his feet on the idol. Onbeing told to remove his feet,he says that he is too weak & cano do so. Sant Namdev tries shift the feet of old man. Where he would try to keep the feet of old man down idol of God would appear.This taught Sant Namdev a lesson which all of us must keep in mind. Give it thought.God resires in your heart too.

All of you have such a knack of writing nicely that I am getting a complex. Any way what is happines & where to look for it. Is not it a million dollar question. And do not think any one can have a simple answer. Every one has to find the solution on his/her own. Some of the thoughts I am putting across may seem difficult to implement but then life is all about doing difficult things.
I feel you can not lok for happiness in outside world.You have to search for within yourself.Secondly to be happy you have to follow the thoughts of Bhagvad Geeta.Keep doing your best without expecting anything in return from any one.

I want to share few things about me. I am an ex-Army officer.I served in the Army for 21 years in Armoured corps.Those with army background will no what it is.For every one else I served in a tank regiment. Even though I was in the army I am studious kind.I like ti read & study a lot.During my service days I took study leave & completed MBA in Finance.
